Answer Menu
Every line has an answer menu.
- Desktop: hover over the answer and click the small ⋯ button next to it.
- Mobile: long-press the answer, or the empty space where it would be.
Copy result
Section titled “Copy result”Copies the result exactly as it’s shown.
Decimal places
Section titled “Decimal places”Drag the slider to show between 0 and 10 decimal places for this answer only. Reset goes back to your decimals setting.

Rounding here only changes what you see. total, prev and line references
keep using the full value.
Custom text
Section titled “Custom text”Shows your own text instead of the answer. It works on any line, including headings and empty lines, which makes it handy for column labels:

Custom text is display only: calculations below keep using the real value. To remove it, open the menu again, choose Edit custom text, and click Clear (the button only appears once a line has custom text).
Custom text and decimal places are saved with the note, sync to your other devices, and appear in every export format.
Opening the menu, or clicking a result, takes the cursor out of the line you were editing.
In a read-only shared note, the menu only has Copy result.
